Perched high up in the hills of Twin Peaks overlooking the City and the East Bay, this pink stucco home shares the street with two other homes featured here: the cute one with the brick and glass and the white box with the skinny windows. Beyond the front door is a private courtyard. The gate is a bronzed metal with a square motif - probably not original. The house isn't very large unless it has another level stepped down the hill. I like the basic unadorned flat surfaces and clean lines. The thin window above the garage is mysterious yet elegant, and the angled roof provides a strong, masculine assertiveness to the home. This is a no nonsense building that is self-confident. The bathroom pink color works against the blue sky and the surrounding greenery.
